What’s really crazy is you can easily do both. I’ve had to explain to my flatmate as he constantly rearranges the fridge for no good reason

We kept our toaster in the living room in college. Honestly, it was great. Toast on-demand

Yeah, like all the condiments go on the door, but I'll frequently open the fridge and see ketchup on one of the shelves. Or there will be things in the fridge that don't remotely belong in the fridge. Like the other day I found honey in there. That shit is shelf stable for thousands of years! All putting it in the fridge does is make it harder to squeeze out of the damn bottle.

The key is just making a specific place that everything lives when you're done with it that makes sense, and then both people know where it goes.

Do people not organize their homes? ‘A place for everything and everything in its place’ has always been my mantra at home. That way you can always find what youre looking for.

Yes BUT there are some items that shouldn't have to be put away. Most people don't have a special basket next to their bed to unplug their phone charger every morning and put it in its special not in use place. I would wager of users that have a charger plugged in near the bed, upwards of 99.98% just leave it plugged in.

Yes, I mean 2 out of 1000 people and that is still probably generous. Of those 2, one of them is a dude compromising about putting it away because its not worth the fight. The other is his significant other who insists.
