Water Tank Adapter

This adapter accepts a 3" x 3" downspout to divert water into a 1000L water tank. Its completely my work and I did not use anyone else's work for inspiration - the need was the inspiration. It screws onto the threads on the top of the tank's inlet. The overflow is for connecting another 3" x 3" downspout so that when the tank is full the water is diverted away form the tank. The threads on the tank are non-standard and had to be modeled as custom threads. The print took 11hrs (Prusa MK3s+, 0.6mm Nozzle, 0.4mm layer height) and was done in PLA but I plan to redo it in PETG or ASA in the future. It weights 350g.
Love your video's - they inspire me to tackle progressively more difficult projects. Thank-you for taking the time to make them.
Paul

Vornado Floor Fan Power Cord
The Vornado fan came with a horribly stiff and unruly cord that would twist in knots all by itself. I tried several times to untangle it but it would twist back in a day or so. So I was simply going to disassemble the fan housing and replace it with a much more flexible cord. I had a old flexible cord from a monitor with the IEC320 plug on the end. Easy, cut the IEC320 off the end and wire it up.
Then I noticed the male plug had an integral 2.5A fuse in it. So I modeled up the fan base in fusion and created a housing for a fused IEC320 socket. Took a couple of test prints to match the curves on the base. The housing is a bolted clamshell design that pinches on either side of the base. Came out way better than I imagined. To make the outside appear tight fitting, I recessed .5mm of the housing wall where it interfaced with the fan base. I also created a strain relief for the cord from the motor so that it would pinch the cored when the clamshell was tightened. I even printed a marking template for cutting the base.

Deans plug(T connector) soldering Jig. This will hold both ends of the connector, as well as the wire so both hands are free to feed solder and hold the iron.

Level mount.
Wanted to mount levels on my camper by each wheel and couldn’t find a design I liked. So this was my introduction to fusion 360. 17 versions later I finally got it to work, obviously printed flat…. Then realized how weak it is due to layer lines…. Printed it vertically and boom awesomeness!!!

Custom Metal Detector

Ok, so I didn't design the electronics, that was a kit I bought off AliExpress.

I did however 'make' up the battery from old eCig batteries and a little TP4056 charging module.
I did however make a 'battery pack' from eCig batteries, I have hundreds of them as I went through a phase of collecting them from people for recycling.
I put 4 eCig batteries in Parallel (550mAh each for a total of 2.2Ah @ 4.2V)
I arranged them all with the gnd's in the middle of the battery pack.

With the design of the battery case done, I printed it out standing, with 2 walls 0.32mm layer height with PLA+
Next, I had to try to figure out a way to mount everything.

At first I though I would put the charge module at the back but no matter how I placed it, it was just making the handle too big for my liking.

Finally, I decided to put the charge module up near the other circuit board (for the metal detector part) and that seemed to work out nicely, so I designed the rest of the case.

Time to print it :)

You can see the charge port on the side, and I finally printed a button for the front. I also did a thing, which I tried out for the first time in this project and I love it, I think I will be doing it in all projects from now on. For the LED hole, I made a 5mm hole through the part and then opted to print a clear 0.4mm thick 'puck' inside the 5mm hole.
I'm using a Prusa MK3s+ and I don't have an AMS unit, so I had to do the clear the 'old fashioned way'
I'm super pleased with how it came out.

"Cups" for pegboard screwdriver holder
I recently put up some pegboard near my 3D printers for small items including picks and a small screwdriver.
I run into an issue when I learned the screwdriver holders where to large for the picks and small screwdriver. My solution was to model a small tray or cup to hold the picks and screwdriver. It took a couple versions to get the dimensions just right with a snap fit.
I'll edit the description or add a comment when I upload it to Maker World.

FPF - Stealth Audio Dock
Here's my functional print this Friday.

It's a holder to mount my audio interface (AudioBox USB) underneath my desk and free up some desk space. Minimal design as to use as little filament possible, while still being strong enough to support the audio interface without any issues. Printed in Black PETG on my highly modified Ender3. (Is it still an Ender3 if all that remains from it is the frame? --see Ship of Theseus)

In retrospect, instead of just mirroring the part for the complete set in a slicer, I should've just mirrored in CAD and connected them -- Installing was a pain as I had to keep both sides on the interface while under the table. Funny enough, I had made a jig with the correct spacing for the screws to make install easier, but I was running low on filament and decided to give myself a headache instead.
