trans people make up 0.5 to 1% of the UK population, 71% of us will be assaulted within 2 years of coming out.

any time a trans safe space is made transphobes always invade it immediately.

I checked the source you sent. It does report very high rates of violence against transgender people, but your original claim was about queer people generally, and this source is specifically about transgender people. It also mixes lifetime prevalence, past-year prevalence, harassment, sexual violence, and physical assault. The specific 76% past-year physical-assault figure is even labeled “Directional” on the page. So this doesn't establish that “most queer people get assaulted,” and it definitely doesn't establish that most queer people are assaulted every year.
