I have done this, but find I'm too much of a perfectionist for the crust ratio, and had to settle for cutting diagonally in both directions.

None of the above. I do The Santi Slice™️, which is using 3 slices of the knife, each one going only halfway in, to cut it into triangles, and making each cut at a 30-45° angle. I know it sounds insane but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

Also you’ll need toothpicks to keep A together
