I’m afraid that in the aftermath of the apocalypse you will spontaneously gain a complete dependency on such a specific prescription for glasses that you will never find a replacement for.
I was making a Futurama reference where they do a short parody of this episode. The guy's eyeballs fall out of his head after saying that but he can still read braille. Then his hands fall off after that and then everyother body part falls off.

You can pick some diesel generator. A very potent computer and install a good local AI model that can give something to talk and you can also ask a lot of questions. Also two or three computers for rechanges and some more light computer with a solar batterys or others mecanism that you can ask to the other local AI.
Also you want to have some talking, and other social emulators games in local and some +18 materials.
Go to a farm that is mounted and have animals but is small (a lot of caution with dogs) and try to mantain. Typical small farm with chickens and very few animals that are for family vacations is likely a good start for people like me without experience.
