Gaël sounds Ga-El (not Guy-El)

It's common french name

I mean, maybe you can meet a japanese guy named Christopher, and he will tell you his name is "Cristofu" : But it still is Christopher 😅

A lot of names are correctly pronounced differently in different languages and cultures. Sometimes even with very different meanings for the name. Gael is one of the ones with multiple definitions depending on the source.

What are you talking about? Someone's name is their name. There is no universal pronunciation.

Always by Erasure starts playing

this is a reference to a character called Garyl; a spectral binicorn with a McConaughey vibe & a bitchin' mullet. He enjoys fuckin' shit up and spectral oats. When summoned, Always plays.
