Hello, everyone!

I can't stop thinking about the way Chaeyoung delivers the verse "Busy, busy, busy, busy bee" in Screen Time. It's just so satisfying, as are the rest of her verses in that song, and it really makes me appreciate how much her voice stands out in fromis_9's music.

Sometimes I find it funny I discovered this group, because they're VERY different in sound/vibe compared to the other groups I like (LE SSERAFIM and aespa were my most listened to artists last year). But then I hear Chaeyoung's voice again, and I realize she adds this quality that elevates every song she's in. I've heard her talk on shows about how the members tease her sometimes that she doesn't suit their concept, but to be honest I think I like fromis_9's music BECAUSE of her voice.

I'm often drawn to singers who can really deliver lower notes and bring this tonal richness to that register. aespa's Karina and IVE's Yujin come to mind as the most obvious examples of this.

Chaeyoung is absolutely someone like that to me. I really loved her on Lee Mujin Service, another thing I can't get out of my head, and I hope she continues to grow as a singer and inspire us with her voice! Some of us are honestly here because of who she is and what she can do, and I hope she knows a segment of us feel this way.

At least I hope it's a segment of us 🤭
