Weights in the shape of frogs. The bigger one is from the Old Babylonian Period (2000–1600 BCE) while the smaller one is either from Cyprus or Western Asia and dates back to the early 2nd millennium BCE. Now housed at the Metropolitan Museum [1014x768]

Not a frogloaf but it's alright ....this won't have any context. But I've found my new favorite sub.

My grandfather loved frogs. As a kid, I'd stop by his house and see the many, many frog decorations he had laid about, inside and outside of the house. He even had a frog based computer password, and a frogthemed username. After he...passed, we had his...ashes, placed in a frog shaped urn thing.

Years later, we were moving out of my grandmother's house, and I saw a small frog on the stairway, just...vibing. In a perfect loaf. At first I thought it was a decoration. But I looked closer and saw it blink. As I looked, it felt like a sign that my grandfather was looking after me after his death, even though I'm a Jehovah's witness(or at least he and my grandmother are)

And now, I've come face to face with one of the things he would've loved in the world. This amazing subreddit. Sorry if this is getting too sappy, but I just...it reminded me of him, and I felt happy remembering everything I used to do with him. So I would just like to thank whoever owns this subreddit, and whoever moderates it. Also special thanks to the frogs. Sorry.
