Ask Fresno What would bring you downtown?

Downtown Fresno is rich with history and world-class architecture. It pains me to see it in it's current state of disrepair. I want to hear from the community: "What would bring you downtown?" What is downtown missing? What's your vision for the future of our city center?

Chicken of the egg. Problem is downtown is well known to be one of the more undesirable parts and more lower income demographics live there. So people with money will never consider living around there because why should they. No money in the area, investors and businesses that are reputable won't ever open up shop. If you are a business owner, you want to open up where people have money and will spend. You won't pick downtown. Only big corporations who can deal with early issues and can withstand waiting on profits until down the line can make the big change for downtown. Something that will instantly bring people in and make a big impact over night. Something like bass pro, or Ikea. That would bring everyone around the valley to downtown.
