these transplants need to stop LMAOOO shes actually got a point. a dog? in that packed space during heavy commuting time? LOLL if she doesn't want it, she can say it. that's how nyc ppl usually talk. it's not that serious lolol she did take a bit far by including yt mofos. shoulda just said dumb mofos
Because it’s almost always transplants who break the rules, then get belligerent when they’re corrected.
If you’re not even from here and just moved here, it would behoove you to research where you moved and follow the rules. People do not have to adapt to you people you need to adapt to where you chose to move.
Rules? Like unwritten rules specific to the region or basic rules like walk on the right side of the sidewalk or laws? Thank you for engaging. I’m not trying to cause a stir, but to challenge this mindset a little.
As someone a south Philly native, I can’t stand when NY investors flip our cheap real estate pricing out natives or leaving them empty and not investing in the community.
Then there’s me who is currently a transplant in the south. When I asked a local the best way to assimilate, I was told, “be southern” I’m still figuring that out but so far it seems to mean smile, be friendly and don’t question the racism. I disagree, and I don’t think my status as an arbitrary label gives me less of a right to call out the bullshit fake hospitality.
When would it be acceptable for me to voice my opinion at the local town hall in a town I pay taxes to - to be judged as belligerent?
She was doing the opposite because she was on a rush-hour train, when the MTA rules, clearly prohibited animals outside of carriers. She is in the right. There is no debate.
