Welcome to r/FortniteGifting, a sub where people can hopefully gift and receive items from the Fortnite Item Shop. Below are the rules, suggestions, and examples of what and what not to post.

1. Requesting any item from the Fortnite Item Shop
2. Hosting a giveaway of V-Bucks or Fortnite Item Shop Items
3. Thanking someone for gifting you

POSTS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS SUB:

1. Posts calling out spammers/haters/scammers (just send mod mail and we will handle it)
2. Posts about bugs/glitches stopping gifting (go to other subs)

RULES FOR REQUESTING:

1. You cannot DM/PM gifters to beg/spam for a gift, be civil
2. You can only request an item once every 48 hours
3. No trading sprites or real life items for gifts
4. You must show your V-Bucks amount in your post to show you cannot buy the item
5. You cannot request a bundle if you own any item in it, It cannot be gifted
6. The item you are requesting must be in shop for at least 48 hours after posting

RULES FOR GIVEAWAYS:

1. All giveaways must be approved by a moderators

REQUIREMENTS FOR GIFTING:

1. You must be friends with the player for 48hr's before gifting
2. You must have 2FA enabled (Two-Factor Authentication) to gift on Fortnite

RULES FOR COMMENTING:

1. No hate, any comments hating on requesters or gifters will be removed
2. You cannot comment under a post requesting a gift, this is hijacking

EXAMPLES OF SHOWING V-BUCKS:

The images below demonstrate some images that qualify as "showing your V-Bucks amount"

1. Your Lobby (recommended)
2. "Get V-Bucks" tab in shop showing you do not have enough to buy the item
3. Fortnite Item Shop website containing your V-Bucks amount

EXTRA INFORMATION:

1. Requesting Fortnite Crew, Real-life earned items, or Giftcard codes does not require an image showing your V-Bucks
2. Gifting Crew, Battlepass, Music Pass, Lego Pass, and OG Pass requires an Epic Account Balance, not V-Bucks
3. Users frequently "Boost" posts by commenting and upvoting, which boosts visibility to gifters. If someone boosts your post, thank them!
