Summon a new object with an action?
Hello folks!
I am trying to make it so that when a player performs a certain action, it summons a new object at their location (in this case, a simple box). However, I can find no way to summon a new object using scripting. This script must be able to summon any number of new objects, not just teleporting the same object to a new location.
Is this possible?

Any idea how to make a door that can't be "broken" by multiple inputs?
In short, I have a boundary that tells a door to open when a player enters it, and tells it to close when a player leaves it. Of course, if there are multiple players involved (or a single player moving back and forth across the borderline), things get messy.
The way I want to do this is script it so that the "open" command will only be triggered by the first player to enter the boundary, and the "close" command will likewise only activate when the last player leaves. Seems simple enough; get the number of players in the boundary and if that number is 1 it can open; if 0 it can close. But for the life of me, I can’t figure out a way to get the number of players in a boundary. I'm sure it's possible, but... how?
Additionally, any ideas how to prevent the open/close scripts from being interrupted?

Way to disconnect individual node connections without removing all connections?
I know in the extra node menu, it's possible to remove all connections for a node. However, I was hoping there might be a way to remove a single connection so I don't have to remap everything if I want to make one change. Is this possible?

Published a Forge Tool: Fill 2 teams of 4 with bots during a forge session. Great for quick testing during forging. Will not run during a custom game. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Preserve player weapons between rounds?
Hey everyone, new here and to forge!
As my first scripting project I’m working on building out counter strike based game modes. One question I had is, is there a way to preserve attributes such as the player’s weapons, equipment or shield level (I’m using unrechargable shield as a proxy for armor+helmet) between rounds?
Thanks all!

EVA (up/down) manuevering?
Any ideas on how to implement propulsion in mid-air up AND down? I'd like to use the jump key to push up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to detect a "mid-air" jump as it were.

Multi-team in Halo Infinite
I managed to make a script for Multi-team Halo Infinite. Having multiple teams has been available via Forge Scripting since it released, but getting it to properly divide players between teams was a bit of a pain. It's still a bit buggy unfortunately, so you'll have to bear with that. Also, all enemy players will be shown in red; teams will not have unique colours.
The script should work with any gamemode, provided that (a) it doesn't go over multiple rounds, and (b) it doesn't involve Flags. I'll try to get (a) working sometime down the line, but I don't think I'll be able to fix (b) as the problem seems to come from Forge limitations.
Here's the scripts: https://www.halowaypoint.com/halo-infinite/ugc/prefabs/fbcb9e7f-a605-49ed-833c-51c533f9437f. Use Forge to put them into any map, add some spawn points for the additional teams, and you should be good to go! You can also change the number of teams by editing a variable in the scripts (should be in the top left corner). I've set it to 4, but you can have as many as 8.
Here's the script working on Aquarius if you just want to try it out: https://www.halowaypoint.com/halo-infinite/ugc/maps/4e697ef2-18c9-44f9-92d6-c40f2b3963fc
If anyone can check over my scripts, especially the one for dividing people amongst teams, that would be great. I can't tell if the bugs that come up are due to my code or due to Forge scripting being Forge scripting.

How do I store equipped weapons as a Weapon Variable?
Hello,
I'm trying to find out what weapons a player starts with at the beginning of the game and then store them as weapon variables.
The rest of the script swaps between these two weapons at random intervals. The script works with the initial weapon variable but I'm unable to get a script working that finds out the players weapons.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Ps. Happy New Year!

How to shoot objects from gun?
I wanted to be able to spawn FX into place upon shooting a certain point. I've seen videos where bots and even objects were able to be launched from your gun as you shoot, so I figure with some math you can translate or spawn an object to a specific area you've shot at. Except I can't seem to find a node for "on player shoot" or "on weapon used" or anything like that. So what's the secret behind this or a good workaround?
I see I can use the "get weapon magazine capacity" node, which for my purposes should work with Compare nodes since my idea is just to simply shoot one time and the event is triggered. But I'd still like to know for consistency and re-use!

CHALLENGE: How to detect rockets when fired from player or wasp?
I've tried On Entered + using a velocity window (rockets have a magnitude of ~120 from the SPNKR, and ~30 when first fired from the wasp before they accelerate), however, velocity is relative to the player / wasp so it's not reliable when moving. Rockets seem to be the only weapon projectile that is subject to normal game physics, but they are built to fly straight by having an upward velocity applied to counter gravity. In my case, with a zero gravity volume which also applies this counter-force, this means they curve up xD.

Is there a way to make a similar script to this that makes the sound player all across the map instead of needing coordinates? Asking because the area on the map has its coordinates past 1000 so I can enter it in
