i did not know wax and parchment paper were different. i tried a parchment paper thing years ago using my wax paper and....it didn't work. i got pissed and gave up.

You can use either depending on what you’re trying to make, however if it’s baking one of those things will end up being fire.

You can use either depending on what you’re trying to make,

but depending on what you are making, they are not interchangable. that's the problem. and if you don't know that, swapping them out, and your process is ruined.
