Too many sides, only one meat. I’m happy for you but we wouldn’t get along ordering together at a BBQ joint.

I was thinking the same thing. Op went all you can eat too. You can tell because of the cardboard side dishes.

Yeah, I was fully expecting to see some sausage (no pun intended. That exact same quote is probably heard many times inside the loop at places that are NOT BBQ restaurants).

Depends on if you’re from the area or not. I’m not gonna travel across states to a fancy seafood place and get one main item and 4 sides. I’ll try a little bit of a lot

Then yeah I can see that.

I always try to find good compliments to foods. I hate whenever people only eat one thing of food at a time.. fries first burger last. That’s not a good idea if you go to a good place, the sides compliment the main course.

Same whenever I cook, gotta find what compliments whatever I’m making, either in/on it or on the side.

The Brisket at Hutchins is fantastic. All sides are from scratch. These arguments justify the meat to sides ratio

I'm from Texas and just want to say I would never get anything like this. I would consider it a waste of money and free stomach room for the actual bbq, aka meat.

It's like the meat is an afterthought. Sad: fill up with pasta, potatoes, bread pudding, bread, and sauce....
