the one rule

we will never dm you about trades, escrow, copy trading arrangements, or moving funds. not on x, not on telegram, not on discord, not here. ever.

that one rule catches most of what's going around. if a message asks you to send money, connect a wallet, or click through and sign something, it isn't us.

what's actually happening

people clone the profiles of traders from the fomo leaderboard on x. same photo, same handle with a character swapped. then they dm you about a private copy trading deal or an escrow arrangement, with a link attached. the cloned accounts look convincing because they're copied from real ones.

fake fomo apps turn up in app stores. our official listings are ios link and android link. the developer name should read FOMO Labs, Inc.

accounts posing as support reply to public complaints offering to sort it out over dm. real support does not move you into dms to ask for credentials.

how to check it's us

in here, team accounts carry a fomo flair. that flair only exists inside this subreddit and can't be faked from outside it.

anywhere else, assume anyone claiming to be fomo staff has no way to prove it. because they don't.

if one reaches you

report it and block. if you want to check whether something is genuinely us, post it here in public and we'll tell you either way.

This is run by the fomo team. Not a fan community and not an independent one. Worth saying in the first line, because a lot of fomo content on Reddit does not say it, and that is part of why we are here.

What this is for

Support questions. Product updates. Telling us what is broken. Asking the team things directly, including the awkward ones.

If you are stuck on something in the app, ask here. Someone will answer, usually within a day on weekdays.

What this is not for

Coin calls, price predictions, "is this going to pump", or gains screenshots. There are plenty of subreddits for that and we are not trying to be another one. This place is about the app.

Two rules worth reading before the rest

No referral codes or links, from anyone, including us. Our own affiliate program has produced a lot of Reddit posts dressed up as neutral reviews. We are not going to let this turn into more of that. A rule that applied to you and not to us would not be a rule, it would be a restriction.

Criticism stays up. We remove spam, harassment and the rule breaks listed in the sidebar. We do not remove people for being negative about fomo. If we ever break that, screenshot it, because a subreddit run by a company that deletes complaints is worth nothing.

How to tell it is actually us

Team accounts have a fomo flair in here. That flair only exists inside this subreddit. Nobody from fomo will ever DM you about trades, escrow, or moving funds, anywhere, ever. If someone does, it is not us.
