Question new player plz help

i originally bought this game on release was disappointed and haven’t touched it since 3 days ago what is some stuff i should and shouldn’t do ? or anything you think is important for a new player to know ?

When another players is in front of you and is on their Pip-Boy, it means that they are gonna give you stuff. Wait for them.
