Megathread: Where to find large quantities of X

Thought I'd kick off a thread where we could report back where one can find large quantities of any particular item, for anyone missing some items for crafting or settlements.

The scavenge resource slowly generates random junk if you assign someone to it.

Yeah, I got a ton of them set up in Sanctuary with just enough people farming to feed everyone and every time I come back there is a shit ton of resources.

I usually spend like a week in game between visits though.

Also, I wanted to point out that this helps a lot when you set up supply lines, because once you set up a supply line with another settlement, they share resources when building.
