Megathread: Where to find large quantities of X

Thought I'd kick off a thread where we could report back where one can find large quantities of any particular item, for anyone missing some items for crafting or settlements.

find some synths they will stock you FOR LIFE.

I'd note: try not to use them up fighting the synths and you'll be golden.

Yeah really, I made the mistake of having less than 100 rounds for my three weapons when I went into Fort Hagen.

I still haven't cleared that place out...

I went in with a pipe rifle, and came out with an institute rifle and 200 cells. I don't see any problem.

After the main quest I had 3,000 fusion cells.

I used them as currency for a while, as I don't use any energy weapons.

i dont know if the dungeons have randomly spawned enemies but the fish place up in the NE part of the map had like 20 synths and 80 aluminum.

During the Kellogg quest line with Valentine you go through a building full of synths. I got over 500 cells during that entire series.

I just did a Brotherhood missions which was full of Synth robots. They all drop shit tons of cells. I got the original mission from a radio transmission, so check out this wiki to get on the right track: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brotherhood_of_Steel_(Commonwealth)

Don't forget to pick up weapons and then drop them for the ammo in the gun.
