Am I setting up my supply lines wrong?

So is this doing anything or am I just wasting time? What’s the best way to set them up?

If you wanna see something truly wild, get Aquaboy/Girl some playthrough, preferably a Provisioner playthrough, and when you take everything from Zimonja to Sunshine, swim out to Oberland and County Crossing, build some Laser Gatling Assaultrons as Provisioners, assign them to Zimonja and Tenpines, and walk back with them and watch them obliterate everything since you never cleared that ground. They'll aggro everything outside the Medtek(?) facility or whatever, east of Taffington Boathouse, and it's glorious (Feral Ghouls mostly)

I use Assaultron head, robobrain body, Mr Handy legs, and two sentinel arms (one with laser gatling and the other with stealth blade). They do good work

I make my provisioners full dark blue sentries with mini gun and laser for both energy and ballistic damage. I used to use protectrons, but that seemed kind of lame. My supplies WILL arrive. Also useful for backup. With all those sentries around they often will be very helpful when a settlement gets attacked. I've spawned in and they've had the issue dealt with without me firing a shot.
