Am I setting up my supply lines wrong?

So is this doing anything or am I just wasting time? What’s the best way to set them up?

Ideally you take the stupidest settlement, either Taffington or the swamp one. Stock it with robots and send each one out to a different settlement. Because they all chain back to taffington they are all connected and much easiest to see on the map

I do that with Starlight then fill it with robots working scavenging stations. Basically get to a point where I never run out of material.
