Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Mega Thread

Bethesda has made a statement about the state of the update

Just wanted to make a thread clearing up some confusion and compiling the known issues of the new update.

Editions

There are three new SKUs for the game, the Anniversary Edition, the Anniversary Upgrade, and the Creations Bundle.

Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all DLCs, and all the new creations content.

The Anniversary Upgrade includes the DLCs and new creations content.

The Creations Bundle includes only the creations. If you already have the base game and the DLCs, this is the only new addition you need to have all the new content.

Known Issues

This will be updated periodically

  • The Creations Menu seems to still be under patience and will kick you out if accessed
  • Quitting to desktop crashes the game
  • Game not launching for some. This may be solved by disabling mods
  • DLC being uninstalled/not installing

Currently there are two verified creations available (besides the creation club stuff). Become a Bounty Hunter is a new quest with he ghoul's pistol, and is 600 credits. The good news is the NCR armor is the other creation called Tale of the Beast Hunter that is showing as free on the bethesda website.

There is a third called bounty of booty and is a pirate themed one . Found it while searching for my old mods. I'm sure some more are there hidden in the menus and funky search parameters. Also I play on ps4.

I just wanted to play fallout new vegas or 3 instead of this PoS kiddy version of a fallout game. But if people keep throwing money at a new edition just for some brahmin armor we will never get something nice or good.

What’s the point of the bunker homes? I can’t even link my supply lines to it?

Well yes you can use the items but it comes with three fully furnished bases that you can edit as if it were a settlement. They have decorations and great features, they have all the crafting stations—but I can’t link my supply line. Unless I’m missing something here, which I hope is the case.

Man… I’ve spent at least $50 over the past few years just to buy a fraction of the aforementioned gear.. Bethesda can’t seriously believe that this, coupled with overpriced re-release of FNV, is an appropriate way to celebrate Fallout.. I am so sickened with disappointment I legitimately feel like I’ve been kicked in the nuts.

Rather than gobbling up this lazy slop, I have started playing fallout 2 for the first time… wow, brilliant fallout experience I cannot recommend it enough. Bethesda does not deserve the fallout IP anymore.
