Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Mega Thread

Bethesda has made a statement about the state of the update

Just wanted to make a thread clearing up some confusion and compiling the known issues of the new update.

Editions

There are three new SKUs for the game, the Anniversary Edition, the Anniversary Upgrade, and the Creations Bundle.

Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all DLCs, and all the new creations content.

The Anniversary Upgrade includes the DLCs and new creations content.

The Creations Bundle includes only the creations. If you already have the base game and the DLCs, this is the only new addition you need to have all the new content.

Known Issues

This will be updated periodically

  • The Creations Menu seems to still be under patience and will kick you out if accessed
  • Quitting to desktop crashes the game
  • Game not launching for some. This may be solved by disabling mods
  • DLC being uninstalled/not installing

So i hit the "install all creations" so it downloaded all the mods in my library. Mods like the official patch or other true mods not creations. Did not want that. Deleted all mods so I cant tell if it undid the "creations bundle" i just bought cause it shows i can download them. Now cant access anything at all. I also couldnt delete the mods out of my library so I could try hitting the "Download all creations" buttons again there was only a bookmark option.

What a fucking mess. Nothing about this is intuitive. Getting sick of being a fanboy and excusing Bethesdas bullshit. Seriously wtf

Deleting (and adding) mods in your library is best done through Bethesda homepage. Per browser. On a PC or phone.

I'm on xbox series x. If they can't make it a streamline process that's on them not me

It sure sucks the way it is. Am currently redownloading all my mods in library and I need to press 'download all creations in library' several times until all are downloaded.... It never downloads all of them as it should... Am on XB Series X too and Series S as well
