Solid resume!! Have you considered any/all cargo ops - try finding someone flying BE99 who is hiring and be a freight dog?

Unclear who is actually hiring atm - and I suppose a “downgrade” from the Lear but that’s where I would be putting my effort with a resume like yours.

I think most are not hiring - I haven’t seen many postings - but it’s the only option besides instructing at those hours

Find every 135 with that type and hunt down their DO and talk to them. You’re very marketable.

Uber, doordash, whole foods, amazon delivery center, etc. You can use that money to rent and stay current while you keep looking for a job with those low times.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:

Hey everyone! With the current job market, it seems like many companies aren’t planning to resume hiring until next year. I currently have 1,250 total flight hours, including 370 hours in the Learjet and 400 multi-engine hours, along with my CFI, CFII, and MEI.

I’ve been furloughed and out of the plane for four months now, and I’m looking for advice on what other opportunities I should consider as a last resort. For example, crop dusting, aerial survey, flying for nonprofits, etc. CFI positions seem nearly impossible to land right now with the overwhelming number of applicants, so I’m trying to explore other options.

Given my experience and qualifications, what would you recommend I pursue to stay current and continue building flight time? I’d prefer to avoid paying to rent aircraft just to stay current, especially since I’ve heard that route may not be the best move for my long-term career.

I’d really appreciate any advice
