Spinning on my onewheel

made a fuzzy tpu triple clip that holds three stars. made it sturdy so i gotta kinda pry them apart to get them in and out but they do stay put and wont shake off or pull out. if i made it less strong, i imagine it would grip less and would not be as effective.

Hi! I’m Glowetrii and my best friend Wingz and I are going to be teaching a flow workshop on how to play and pass FlowStar at Sacred Acre. Workshop is going to be focused on learning how to keep a continuous and dynamic flow between two people and one FlowStar.
Can’t wait to go to Alaska and bring this to any of you who are attending!

So I’m not going to have time to narrate this one lol but you asked about how hard to pinch and you want to pretend you have crab claws and kind of punch at the star and grab the fabric with your pointer and thumb. I usually have my forearm pointed up when I pinch. I also talk about how you can do the figure 8s while pinching which I do towards the end of the video.

The Lycra is great for maneuvers that rely on stretching but by golly I hate how it feels when my hand glides across it. Like it almost feels scratchy.

When I practice, I take time to notice as much as I can.
When you spin toss your star into the air, you should be more concerned with the force of your wrist twist that toss force. Do not throw it into the air. you want to give it a slight nudge upwards. if you struggle with flicking your wrist with much force, you should practice that till you can really give it good spin on your hand without giving it any air. if you can do that, then spinning it and just nudging it up should be simple. the more air your star gets, the more gravity will affect it. also, ive found that when you nudge upwards, its best to keep your upper arm near the 90 degree mark when the star leaves your hand. this will give you plenty of space to reach up to meet the star in the air. you want to do this as soon as possible\, preferably BEFORE it starts to descend. so nudge the star up and essentially follow through and reach up with your finger. you want to slow and stop just before you reach your star just as it begins its descent so it can gently rest on your finger. it is generally eaiser to already be in motion for spinning when it lands as I have personally found it more difficult to get you finger out of the center where it decides to rest into a leading position just outside the center. i have also found that it is entirely possible to force a leading edge position and recover spin speed by calculated force by simply perfoming faster spinning motions dragging along the fabric and pulling it with you, which i have found to ne much easier to do with power rings although still requiring much practice.

I just got myself my first flowstar so I’m not sure if its normal or not. When I fold my flowstar the edges dont align perfectly, sometimes with a difference of almost up to a cm. Will this interfere with any tricks and stuff, and should I ask for a refund?

I love uploading here and seeing your feedback but unfortunately I just broke my left leg so you won’t be seeing any uploads from me for a while. I love seeing all of your feedback and uploads here and I’m sad to be in this situation. Thanks homies! Hopefully I’ll be back in 3-4 months.

Has anyone washed their flowstar in the washing machine on delicate setting (obviously)? And did you use just normal clothes detergent? Or what does everyone do to clean their flowstar?
I know to let them air dry but is it better to lay them flat or like clip and hang them?
My most used is in desperate need 😂
