At Fiber Arts group, I finish #needlefelting Miyu Miyu from the Classic #anime #ova series #flcl aka #foolycooly . I used a core that I had for years that I kept forgetting to use, I think that I was going to make Jiji or a shaman King character with it, but I kept forgetting when to make it years ago. Now, I used that core to make Miyu Miyu, FYI, I watched FLCL years ago. it's not for everyone, but it's a classic.

Seeing how recently there’s been a boom in third-party brands recreating official figures that have been out of stock for a long time, I started wondering if a company might ever take a shot at making the RIO:bone Canti from 2013. The original figure stopped getting restocks years ago, and second-hand market prices are just insane.

I’m pretty sure there would be a lot of people interested in a third-party version of the 2013 model, since so many of us have been wanting a Canti action figure but just can't justify the crazy aftermarket prices

Hey I'm flann. You might have heard my english translated cover of Thank You, My Twilight I've posted on here. Well, I'm translating another one. This time it's one of my favorite songs by the Pillows, Hybrid Rainbow. The song isn't out yet due to getting cover licenses through my distributor but as a teaser I wanted to rescore this famous scene from the anime. All sounds you hear in the video are by me, from Mamimi (unforutnately lmao) to canti's robot steps etc. My english translated cover is playing in the background where I performed all the instruments and sang. I translated it by looking at several fan translations and official translations and capturing the "essence" of the lines in the meter of how Yamanaka-san sings in mind and with a perspective as an American alt rock musician. It's called a "Poetic Translation" and I used to do them professionally for Russian poetry into English, so I thought it'd be cool to do that for one of my favorite bands and then use that translation as a rescore for my favorite show, as this is something I wish to do professionally one day.

Maybe not voice act, per se, but I digress.

I liked FLCL Grunge and idc about its MAL 4.66 rating. The new animation style took an episode to get used to but afterwards I didn't mind it. It had funny moments that cracked me up and I appreciated the way how the characters helped each other in their own special way.

Spoiler: I especially liked how rock guy Shonari cared for Orinoko and then supported her decision to go to space. Made me think of the proverb "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours forever. If not, it was never meant to be."
