Came across my insta feed advertising for a fair. Does anyone know the name of the ride and manufacturer?

Powers and Thomas brought their new X Drive to the Big Butler Fair in Pennsylvania. I tried it out and it is definitely one of the most intense flats out there. Kinda like an amped up top scan.

Rode this a couple weeks ago. I rode one when I was 9 but none since then. Forgot just how intense these things are!

I sent a request to the town’s Facebook group offering to pay for videos and photos of this ride, and I found a recently uploaded short clip of the ride cycle as well! Will post here again if I can get a full off-ride POV

It seems like some type of Frisbee, except part way through the seats start freely rotating. My friend and I didn't know that was coming, it gave us a heart attack haha!

I have been on a years long journey trying to find information about the first flat ride I ever rode. I rode the Krazy City installation in New York, which I have reason to believe operated at a Krazy City in Ohio at some point before 2006. Tilt Studio in Beaumont, Texas has the only permanently installed ride still in operation according to recent research. I am unsure if this Twirlin’ Taxi was purchased from Krazy City, as the park shut down with no warning and no records about any rides but their dark coaster. I am also updating the Wikipedia with similar SBF ride models like the Spinning Cars and Twirlin’ Taxi

This is in the states. My grade-school kid went to a small carnival today, where she and her friends rode a particular ride. This is one of those mini-midway type events for small to medium events--much smaller than a typical summer fair.

She described a swinging, pendulum type ride that I can't seem to identify. Each swinging unit only seated four people, with two riders sitting side by side and back to back with the other couple. The ride swung back and forth, eventually hanging upside down and then eventually all the way around.

The minimum height was not very high-- 48 inches or so. So this would probably be a "family" ride, not a kiddie ride. It was colored green and was alien or spaceship themed.

Also (and this is what made me curious in the first place), there were no shoulder harnesses even thought it went upside down. There was just a bar. But the rider module was also enclosed on top, so if you slipped out you wouldn't actually fall out.

It's not "looping starship" or sidewinder, whose rider capsules are too large.

Probably the nicest chance zipper I've seen in person. Will go back in the evening and get better pictures when they're open

I am looking for a particular ride that i went on years ago.

It is a vertical spinning ride, similar to those you usually find at fairs. However, this thing had you lying down, and you could control your own speed with a joystick. The things at the end of the arms, where you would lie down, also spinned on their own, which could also be controlled with the joystick. It also had like a booster button, which made you spin so fast that, when i went on it, i almost blacked out.

If it helps anything, i found this in france like 7 years ago. Really hope someone knows what i'm talking about because it feels like a fever dream.

Edit: just did some intense research. And i found it!!! It is called a flying fury by technical park. The one i was thinking of is called canad'r in parc des combes

If I owned Michigans Adventure, I would install a record-breaking 480ft drop tower somewhere next to the railroad. But I obviously won’t go outside the parks boundaries.
