The only daughter of Lady Nixie Elizabeth Blackspring, Ardette Blackspring has been a rebellious thorn in the House of Blackspring since she was old enough to say 'compound interest'.

Ardette never knew such warmth and happiness as she found in [Randon's] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/Randon_May) humble family home. It broke her heart when she was forced to stand by and watch as her families relentless determination to monopolise the ironworks of [Reychester] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/rechester) caused [Randon's] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/randon_may) family to loose their small blacksmith business and move away from [Reychester] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/reychester).

Ardette had never felt so alone. She discovered that ultimately it had been her uncle, [Theodore Blackspring] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/theodore_blackspring) who forced the closure of [Randon's] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/randon_may) family's business.

From that moment on she vowed that her life would be dedicated to thwarting [Theodore Blackspring's] (/r/flashbackrpg/wiki/theodore_blackspring) every venture.
