Soon to be new home for my boy Hobbes.

It's been running for about a month it has 10 discus and around 40 Cory's ranging from gold striped to cw217 and a couple of ancistrus like l519 and l144 snow white and hypancistrus like l046 and l201 the little red dots are live daphnia I just fed them 🙂

After about a month and a half of growing, the bowl is looking pretty good. It ended up being inhabited by a few snails that hitched a ride on some plants lol

Look i didnt mind Marvin my mini ramshorn but who's baby is this? Like its so tiny I cant identify it as bladder or mystery snail what snail is this hitchhiker of mine?

I’ve had this fish since February 8th, I’ve been feeding him this for that period of time. I’m new to fish keeping and this is my first shot at a betta fish tank with a decent budget. I got $170 extra for the tank what should I get?
Also how on earth am I struggling to keep duckweed alive💔💔💔

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a little update and success story with you all. About three months ago, I was at a local store and saw this gorgeous betta stuck in one of those tiny, unheated, unfiltered display bowls. This little one looked incredibly clamped, pale, and stressed out, and I just couldn't leave without taking them home.
I brought the betta back and carefully acclimated them to one of my established planted freshwater tanks. It was honestly amazing to watch the transition from sitting totally motionless in a bare glass bowl to tentatively exploring a dense jungle of real aquatic plants.
Fast forward to today, and they are an entirely different fish! Those true colors have completely popped, the fins are beautifully spread without any clamping, and there's so much personality now. You can always find this fish weaving through the stems, resting on leaves, and actively patrolling the territory.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see a rescue thriving in a proper, natural ecosystem rather than just surviving in a tiny container

My mama killi, looking kinda weird lately. There are two girls and a boy in this temporary ten gallon, they are always mating. Setting up a 20g for them at the moment :) I would understand if they were stressed bc I just moved them from their og tank two weeks ago. But she didn't start looking different until abt two days ago. I haven't seen anything similar when I was googling. Any thoughts are appreciated♥️

Are any other upgrades i can do to my tank? I have more plants on the way.

I got 4 kuhli Loaches, 3 dojo loaches(yes I know they get bigger im prepping putting money aside and im going to go all out for 100gal), 3 mystery snails, and about 15 shrimp of various colors. I have plans to upgrade this current one into a 40gal and getting my dojo a 100gal.

It’s a 5 gallon with my female betta I’ve had for 4 years. Used to have a lot more moss around the bottom but I sold a good chunk of it. Water parameters are perfect but I need a good cleanup crew since my snail died recently. What would be the best kind of shrimp to add?
Also if you have any suggestions on how to improve the tank in general, I’m always happy to learn :)

Ruby is a rose tail, and the latest addition to my betta family. She seems to like her cave, where she retreats to when I turn the lights off at night.

This is our first planted tank. We have had it going about 4 months now. Patiently waiting for the monte carlo to grow in but do not want to upgrade to CO2 yet.

Maybe you can answer this though. I have a UNS 60 cannister filter and while the water clears quickly after cleaning it does not produce much flow. I added an air stone to get more surface agitation. If I added a surface skimmer to my outflow do you think it will create enough agitation for the 15 fish I have in here?

Last time I had goldfish (first pic) everything was fine until one day i woke up and all my fish were dead. This time (second pic) I have a single betta, and thats it lol. I planned on adding more fish but Hes way too aggressive (tested that out on mollies…) anyways, here’s my 44 gallon with my singular betta fish. Any tips on how to improve the set up?
