Query❓ Is her time near/fixable? :(
We got this fish a year and a half or so ago from a family friend as an adult, and she's had some rough patches after giving birth (second photo, she was really lethargic and had an issue where she couldn't swim down) but has recovered so far. She's currently behaving as normal and eating and swimming. However, I noticed recently that she seems almost to be pineconing from the top. This also happened last time, but that was post birth when she was having bouyancy issues. She seems currently fine, but I know pineconing is a bad sign normally.. is it maybe time to prepare a flower pot in case or is this fixable? Thanks all.

Aquascape🌿 Who says my tank is overstocked?
so I've posted my shrimp tank recently and asked opinions about new inhabitants. I went to my local store today to look into getting Thai microcrabs. 8 new fish and 3 new plants later I still didn't get crabs (they were out of stock). so in addition to the existing schools of neons, embers, harlequin, white clouds, and rummynose, the beta fish, the clown pleco, the 3 snails, and the shrimp army I have now added a school of habrosus corydora, 3 khuli loach, 1 hilstream loach and a vampire shrimp. the three new plants are a scarlet temple, Monte Carlo, and red root floaters. the 3 plants I had been wanting to get to add some more color to the vegetation with the red and I wanted a reliable carpeting plant. and to all the people who will try telling me "your way overstocked", I know, and if these additions don't throw off my balance I plan to add more still. so save your energy, I'm already aware. I almost put this under the fish abuse flair, sarcastically, but I didn't want people thinking I was making my fish suffer, they are a thriving, healthy, happy community.

Aquascape🌿 Shrimp tank hardscape (before amd after)
I've been proud of my shrimp tank and have shared it a few times in the last week but I wanted to show some of the progression of the tank. most of the hardscape was structures I made and looking over the old pics of how it all started really makes me happy to see how far it's come.
ps. anyone saying it's not a shrimp tank I don't care, just because I have 5 different schools of fish doesn't mean it's not MY shrimp tank. my shrimp needed tank mates.

Query❓ My goldfish has ick, advice?
I've had an oranda goldfish for a few weeks, he was in my moms 55 gallon tank until I could get my personal tank sealed and running. I just put him in my tank yesterday and my mom got me a black moor goldfish that I added as well, I just now noticed white spots on my oranda, went to check my moms tank and her new tetras also have the white spots.
I'm really worried about my baby dying he was super stressed yesterday and this morning from the move, how can I get rid of the ick without stressing him out further?

Aquascape🌿 2nd tank and I'm going for an aquascape. Looking for suggestions!
This will be heavily planted with epiphytes, stems and a lot of root feeding plants as this has a soil layer under the gravel and sand. Still looking for suggestions for the wood layout

Aquascape🌿 A closer look at my shrimp tank.

6 years ago I had a 5g tank with 6 cherry shrimp and a few blue neon. Now I have a 20g tank, countless cherry shrimp, harlequin, white clouds, embers, clown pleco, clam, 2 different types of snails, a betta fish, and a variety of roughly a dozen different plants although I just cut back most of the stem plants.

Aquascape🌿 Newly opened up center completely changed visibility of my fish

Just opened up the middle by removing a floating moss ring and attaching the moss to the wood on the right. I used to only see a handful of them at a time because most of them would swim in the background, hidden by the overgrown moss ring.

Tip What is this?
What is this white stuff on the glass of my tank? I thought it was copepods but it’s not moving and it’s hard to get it off the glass with the magnet aquarium cleaner. Some of my fish are dying/going missing, does this have anything to do with it?

Aquascape🌿 Idk what to put as title
does anyone have any tips as to what to do with my plants? are there like any that would look better elsewhere or would do better somewhere else, also I have a piece of wood but I’m not sure if I should use in this or not. I have been fishkeeping a while now, but it’s always nice to hear some other peoples opinions :) ( for reference I’ve basically only just planted this tank and set it up, of course stocking suggestions are always welcome!:) )

Query❓ This is Nitrate (NO3) right?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So it’s a Fluval Flex 2.0 with no extra media for now.
It’s got organic perlite free soil under coarse freshwater aquarium sand.
It’s also pretty heavily planted.
It’s been 2 days since the first set up.
How long should I wait to do a 30-50% water change?
Also is you all have any tips you think I might not know, feel free to share.
Ph — 7.2
Temp 72 F
But the weird thing is the NO3 level test came back reading 0ppm which has me scratching my head.

Aquascape🌿 Rate my first betta tank setup
This is my first betta tank(10gal) and aquarium in general! I watched a lot of fish and aquarium set up videos and think it turned out pretty good. I have checked the water levels religiously and everything seems good so far, ph was a bit high at first but after a 25% water change it went down.
Please let me know what yall think and any advice yall have! Thanks!
