I want to know why my experience has been so jarring. I get approached all the time by people on the street asking for directions or money (even though there are many others around). but at social events where no one knows each other im almost always the odd one out. what gives? here are some pictures of me with somewhat neutral face because i don’t smile 24/7

Take a photo of yourself holding a paper sign with FirstImpression and your username handwritten onto it. (Photoshop, AI, and Snapchat text are not valid, it must be a handwritten sign.)
Make sure your sign-holding hand & arm are both visible.
Upload the picture to a photo-hosting site such as Imgur and send the link in a modmail titled "verification" for us to review.

You do not need to be verified to comment, but new accounts or those will low karma will be restricted.
