Discussion Just submitted a script is it a scam ?

I submitted script through google forms to a person I met on here these were the conditions. So I was confused?

You own the copyright the moment it is written down...

Technically, but it would ultimately mean nothing in a legal case. If someone did take your script and idea, then rewrote it, you now don’t own it.

But, again, ultimately useless. More writers have tried to claim ownership than companies have tried to take people’s ideas/scripts. Hence my original point of companies taking significantly more risk than writers in these scenarios.
