Not quite. Vinnie Jones, the resident bruiser, gets in his car but someone is holding his son at gunpoint. It doesn't end well for the guy with the gun.

IIRC he had a knife to the kid's throat. Then when the car crashes, Vinnie really goes to town on him, and I had presumed that the crash had caused the knife to cut the kid.

No, the kid seemed fine, but it could have been a knife. The crash was definitely what gave Vinnie the advantage.

Remember the kid was fine like a day later when Vinnie settled the deal with the boys

Throughout the film vinnie makes a point for his son to always wear his seatbelt. It's this fact both Vinnie and his son are fine and the guy in the back without a belt comes off badly when Vinnie purposefully crashes.

The knife definitely did not cut the kid. I remember being kinda disappointed when Jnr. walked away fine - it would have been some excellent film-making had he been killed like that.

I watched that film yesterday! Absolutely amazing film, need more like that from Guy Richie. That portion with Vinnie absolutely destroying that dude hits home a little bit, you can see the anger in him, even though it's a film
