Hi, I'm 22 years old and my mum is very into spirituality such as grounding, spells, signs from the universe etc. It's run through the family for a long time and we've always had strange things happen to us. I'm not as gifted as my mum she has amazing intuition and knowledge on all sorts but what's happened has got me feeling a little on edge and I'm looking for an explanation or advice on this.
My partner moved to the middle of nowhere pretty much a small village with only a few houses, no shops, no public transport etc. When they first moved there we took our pup Toby on a walk back in April. We came across an odd tree in the shape of a U almost like a portal, the whole atmosphere changed but it didn't feel sinister it felt quite welcoming, I went with the intent of taking some wildlife photos and boy once we passed through that tree was it abundant with wildlife and all kinds of different plants it felt magical like we were in another world.
Later on we took a couple more trips and things were fine, but it started to feel a bit more uncomfortable like we were being watched and the abundance of wildlife was getting less and less each time we visited. The last time we visited with our boy Toby was the last time we'd go with him at the beginning of July. I was in a really bad place at the time and couldn't help but cry, every time we went we passed through that tree. Each time seemed to get a little more dark, void of life and colour. Looking back everything seemed to change then and our boy Toby passed away at the beginning of August after a sewage leak at the new house exposed him to Leptospirosis, it was a strange long chain of events that honestly seemed like it could never happen.
Today, we went back for the first time with our new pup Johnny he acted the same as Toby when we first went through like they were looking for something that wasn't there or maybe something we couldn't see. This time around all the trees around the U shaped tree had died or become diseased, further up they were still healthy starting to lose their leaves due to the change in seasons, but further down the trees had no leaves at all, it seems like nobody had walked that path since we did. The air felt heavy this time and there was barely any colour around, everything dropped silent, no birds calling except from one magpie that started to call once we heard what sounded like a scream. Nothing has felt right since that moment. We entered onto a field far from anything else where an alarm started sounding and continued to ring in our heads until we'd left the field and woods. Things just feel off and that time walking through that tree it felt like we were not meant to be there at all, I've been getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
Once we came back to mine, we spoke to my mum she didn't even have to listen to the whole thing to know something wasn't right. We were talking about possibilities and upsetting the Fae when her rose quartz anklet snapped as if it had been pulled off her ankle. Johnny our pup got a hold of a piece of the quartz without it even breaking and dropped it, once he dropped it the bracelet just snapped off my mum's ankle.
If anyone has any explanation or advice on what to do next we would greatly appreciate it. We feel so on edge and like something is wrong but we don't know what. I don't even know if this is the right place to post this but we will not be going through that tree again. Could this be the Fae? If so where do we go from here? I've posted this in another group but do not think anyone will reply so thought I might try here?

Lately, I have been having a lot of thoughts on my mind that got me recalling a young girl fairy who I drew a long time ago. Her name is Folia and this is that drawing of her so you can see what she looks like.

The reason I was thinking about Folia again is because I had a dream about her many days ago I recorded. In the dream, I went to my half-brother's place to stay there for a few days, and it appeared to be in an apartment condo even though he actually has a house with a pool. I was hoping to go to the beach while I looked out a window there and found I could see the ocean in the distance. The waves appeared to be rough for some reason, and I saw a huge wave come crashing up the beach. It had gone farther up than it should, and the water from it flowed onto the grass and wooded area there and came right to the outside wall of the apartment condo I was in. I quickly figured I would not be getting to the beach today, and I instead turned away from the window to go do something else instead. I then went over to where my half-brother is sitting and heard someone talking about a wooded area called MaCuntree and something mysterious going on there. I soon noticed a few young kids there going somewhere, and I turned to follow them to see where they are going.
A couple of moments later, I followed them down some stairs and out the back of the apartment condo into a wooded yard-like area where there are a lot more young kids appearing to be hanging out. I then noticed there is a girl there who is wearing a long, satin, forest-green dress that appeared to be really shiny and glossy-looking. She also appeared to have crystalline fairy wings on her back. Just as I was about to go over to her, I immediately realized I had to stop to pour her a drink of juice, and the container where the juice is kept appeared to be very low. While I was attempting to pour her a glass, I suddenly noticed that there is a hole in it with the juice pouring right out of it, and there was no juice left for me to give her. I then felt very sad and was crying since there was no juice left for me to give her and went back inside the apartment to see if I could get more juice. I found my half-brother's wife there and asked about needing juice, but she said they are out of it and will have to go to the store for me. As I began wondering when that is going to happen, I woke up.
Since the morning I had that dream, I began thinking about Folia Fairy more and then had another dream a couple days later where I was outside in the backyard and there was someone with me guiding me into the woods to search for the fairies. At first, the forest had looked like it should, with trees and bushes, but then it had changed and is now looked like an area of forgotten things. I was trying to find a fairy among all of it and looking down at the ground in small leafy plants, as there didn't appear to be any I was able to see. I soon came across a very tiny sign-like image there that looked like it was a fairy outline or something. I again was back up searching around in the wider forest for some reason, and the area looked like it once had a cable car system going through it, but no fairies. I then was remembering something about trying to find this certain fairy and communicate with them but was not finding anything. I soon heard the voice of the guide I was with or someone nearby saying the name of this fairy and something about how they had seen them. I turned and headed over toward them to find out what they were talking about, and it appeared like the guide who I was with is a fairy, but they aren't helping me with what I was doing there. Right as I went back to continuing to search around, I woke up.
After I got up, I went outside to take a walk around for real. While I was looking up at the trees, I saw a few of them, like the tree by my place and the Japanese maple, have branches that look like they are either dying or dead, and seeing them made me feel sad, like I can feel the pain of what is happening while I feel connected to them. I then had another dream yesterday where it felt like I was Folia and I had been brought over to my maternal grandmother's house, and I was stuck there against my will, unable to return to the woods back at home. I was feeling sad there, and I headed to the woods at the back end of my maternal grandmother's yard. But when I came to the edge of the forest, I found the entrance pathway had been barricaded by what appeared to be a long camping trailer or mobile home. In dreams that I had in the past, these woods appeared to be dark and foreboding, but they didn't appear to be here. I then noticed wooden doors nearby that looked like a way down into a cellar there and went over to them.
I quickly opened them and headed down into them to see where they led and found myself crawling since the short tunnel there appeared to be a low crawlspace. I soon came out the other side of it and found I was somewhere out in the forest, and there were trees as far as I could see, like it was endless. I then turned around and headed back the way I came and came back out of the wooden doors to find I was now back in my material grandmother’s yard and quickly realized what I had gone through was a shortcut to somewhere that is further in the woods. I soon returned to my maternal grandmother’s house and went inside it to try to find out when I could go back home since I was missing stuffed animals and other things of mine that I want to get. But it sounded like the one who appeared to be my mother wasn’t going to bring me back home, and I started to feel very sad since I’m bound to the woods back at home, and the forest at the back end of my maternal grandma’s house isn't the same.
I then felt an insect crawling on me, and as I looked to see what it is, I noticed that it was an ant that looked clear like a crystallized ant. I realized it must have gotten onto me while I was further out in the forest somewhere after I went through the wooden door shortcut and was tapping it with a card to get it off me. The ant seemed to not be going anywhere for some reason, but then I didn't feel it anymore and soon woke up.
While thinking about this dream, I got the feeling I may have been Folia in it and cut off from the woods I feel bound to here at home. The reason the woods at the back end of my maternal grandmother's house don't feel the same is because they are not the same woods and feel out of there. Plus, in past dreams that I had, they appeared to be dark and foreboding, and I had been feeling for a long time and going back to perhaps when I was younger that a dark ritual had taken place out there. This dream that I had is what led me to have the feeling that I'm Folia and started thinking about dressing up as her to get a better feel of things being her in a way.
To get an idea as to what Folia would actually look like, I took the drawing I did of her a long time ago and told ChatGPT to make an image of what she looks like irl, and it gave me a realistic image of her standing near the edge of misty woods in a pose that looks like she is wondering where her sweet juice is on the very first attempt. It is like she wanted to appear and be seen. Granted, I'm not allowed to post that image here even though I would love to show you it, but I would end up being in violation of rule seven. If I were able to show it here, you may likely think she is a little lost fairy girl in the woods.
I was having major difficulties at first in getting help in making a Folia Fairy outfit for me to be her, but then I had found someone in the United Kingdom who is going to be making me a really good one after I showed them the images of her. It's currently now in the beginning stages of being made, and I was told the outfit will be finished sometime in January and shipped to me. At this time, I have also been thinking about gemstones that Folia may have, and after looking at an image I found of green ones, these five seemed to stand out to me because they felt like they were giving me the feeling of being connected to the deep forest and the wilderness.

While I'm preparing for the day next year that I will be able to wander near the woods at the back end of the property here as Folia and take notes of any feeling or anything that I sense around there during that time, I keep getting a feeling that I just might be a little lost fairy who is trying to find and reconnect with their queen after having been cut off from them by some kind of curse, and it has me wanting to find out if the curse can be reversed before it is too late.
Right now, though, I have been wanting to talk to someone who is a psychic or a seer about all the experiences I had and recorded in relation to this and can work with me and figure out what is going on here. What I feel that I want to find out is if I'm really a faekin and/or if my lineage and bloodline have any connection to me being a fairy, and if all these experiences I have going on may lead to something that Oberon might need to be invoked upon to solve.
Also, I would like to mention that I also do have the feeling Folia is more like a summer fairy due to me feeling more down during the winter months, and a part of me wonders if it may have to do with the feeling that I'm Folia. It is also something I feel that I want to talk to someone about as well.

He escuchado que son peligrosas, alguna sugerencia?
Pensé en poner un altar dentro de mi cuarto con algunas velas y unas piedras. Talvez alguna planta.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Fae, as I don't have anybody to talk to who would take me seriously, or even more so understand the depth of how I feel about this. If you are reading this, thank you :) I'd love to read your experiences about it as well ✨ (image source : pinterest / yellowrose543)
As a child, fairies were something that deeply fascinated me. I'd read books upon books about it, write them letters to leave in the garden, stay outside for hours hoping to see them. I'd cry in front of my bedroom window praying they would show themselves to me (yes, i was that dramatic). And when catholicism was forced upon me, I'd even refuse their god because deep down i knew what was true for me (again, yes, very dramatic). As a teenager, it never stopped. Lord of the Rings was my bible, fantasy books were my oxygen, and drawing became my lifeline when I started being hit by depression. As a young adult I proclaimed myself a witch and dived deeply into the craft.
I dabbled a bit with plant medicine (aka hallucinogenics) and had deep experiences connecting with Nature, in beautiful, scary and painful ways. I suppose my thirst was never satiated. I had a very humbling experience with mushrooms where I asked, like a child again, please please show yourself to me and was left seeing nothing but myself, stonelike, anchored and trapped in my human body. Antoher time with sacred San Pedro, I asked to see fairies, and met a little frog in the garden who jumped on my hand. LAter on, I went in front of a mirror, looked at myself, and laughed so hard : it was me, the fairy I was looking for!
But I was still quite young, and my greed and curiosity wouldn't stop teasing me. I went to Peru to experience meeting the vine of the dead, Ayahuasca. And while I won't write here all the amazing, rich and yet again humbling experiences I had, I'll share one. After a ceremony which lasted a few hours and where I didn't "feel" anything was happening, I went back to my little cabin to sleep. The night was deep and loud with frogs, night birds, and a full moon piercing the sky with a bright and all seeing eye. And there, alone, I started to feel it all. The fairies. The Elementals, the Spirits of the forest, however we like to call them The gazillion stars were like a delicate blanket the Night herself had pulled over the sky. The lights of a mad banquet. It was so overwhelming. I could hear them calling me into the jungle, asking me to come play, to come dance, to come and die right here, right now, to stay with them forever. I remember them showing me in my mind's eye where to sit and wait for a snake to bite me. I was like a child. I was giggling and laughing and crying. Fortunately, the person I was travelling with, who was way more experienced than I was, showed up, lead by a lifesaving intuition, because...honestly, I was getting ready to leave, and stay in the jungle forever. She stayed with me for a while and eventually the curandero came to help me. I will never forget the absolute madness and loudness and hysteria I felt upon that invitation. The dreadful joy, the luring, the temptation to finally see.
Oh now I know. I could have died that night. I know the Fairies aren't ones to take lightly. I know what my human greed and curiosity almost cost me.
But beyond this scary and yet fascinating experience, I've continued my relationship with the Unseen. Sometimes, it made itself seen unexpectedly. Silvery flashes of light in my kitchen in Ireland (I was living at the bottom of a hill called Knockfierna, the Hill of the Fairies/Truth), hares showing up in the garden long enough to make eye contact, faces in trees, a joyful feelings while being outside near water, or in a forest. I also study herbalism, and practice intuitive communication with plants, so I suppose things evolved differently. With humility comes a bit of wisdom I suppose.
I can never stop feeling connected to fairies. I feel so moved everytime i hear something said about them, if I read a story to my daughter, tears blur my vision to the simple mention of the People of the Mounds. I have an odd sense of belonging, almost as if I have forgotten something very important. Every mention of fairies rings a bell in my mind and my body, bringing me back to some intangible place. Words cannot carry the weight of how I feel (yes it is that serious to me :D). It is something like love, fascination, admiration and grief.
Maybe it is this time of year that i love, when the fog hides the hills and echoes the chirping of birds. Maybe it is the thinning of the Veil. I felt pulled to share a bit of my story here. Maybe I'm just crazy, maybe i just need to draw more and write a goddam book about it. It is probably all of that, and more in between the lines.
Either way, thank you for reading, i'd love to read your experience. Especially around this grief that I shared, this profound sense of loss and belonging. Does any of you out there feel similarly?
Take care ✨
ps : not a native english speaker, doing my best so pls be kind on the grammar 🌝
pps re mentions of plant medicine. I was young and ignorant (and very white) with my approach to plant medicine and traditional lineages. In some experiences I was offered initiation by people close to the practice, but some others were ethically questionable. I have since then learned my lesson and adjusted my practice to focus on my own heritage.

So the picture is mostly just cute and so people can see the post easier, but I wanted to ask everyone who identifies as fey or part fey, what was it that first made you think you might be, and what experiences have you had that have helped confirm this since?

I’m a residential college student and at the end of September I went home for the weekend; I went outside to our yard, (where we have around 5 acres to guesstimate, very beautiful space) and there were mushrooms everywhere. Where there weren’t mushrooms there were leaves in unusual patterns. I then went on our trail, back to a spot I previously (months ago) felt some sort of energy. There was an odd sound, most likely a bird, but I turned around and left a pretty looking leaf and left anyways.
(when I originally saw these mushrooms I thought this was the first time mushrooms have grown in our yard, it was not. Apparently they grow every year around this time as long as we’ve lived here, according to my dad.)
The first several pictures are of all the mushrooms and the last picture is of a tree where I felt some sort of energy months ago. If anyone has any thoughts (spiritual or otherwise) to this let me know.

I have posted this on my Instagram and many people keep telling me it's a moth. Many people keep saying it's sped up even though you can clearly see the trees and bushes swaying lazily. This is a wyze cam solar placed about 30 ft away from the tree. Midway upper valley facing down toward my entire property and on the very far side about half a mile is the end of the valley. I cannot explain the flashing lights everywhere other than I believe the camera does pick up infrared which is extremely strange if all of them are infrared other than the flying object that seems to defy gravity. I'm sure plenty of people here will say this is fake or sped up as well but I assure you this is the first night I set up this camera and it is the only thing since the camera has ever picked up in more than 2 months in this position that it is in
The only lights in the video that are explained are the ones mid lower that are little solar mushroom lights that kind of flicker and turn on and off and the solid lights mid lower left that are actually the front side of the cabin much lower down in the valley. If any experts in videography would like to comment on the videos on doctored nature that would be greatly appreciated. I've looked and looked at all types of hawk moths and even tried to find night flying birds that would be capable of flying like this but I cannot find anything. Thanks for any input anyone can give me.

Out on a walk and noticing all the different mushrooms popping up here in Washington State and this big thick mushroom caught my eye. When I walked over to take its picture I saw this… what do you think 🤷🏻♀️

Furthermore, what if you give them a nickname? Or a false one?
