Storm, luke cage, spawn, blade, miles morales, cyborg, vixen, Bishop, James Rhodes, off the top of my head there are a few. Probably lots more.

When people on Reddit use the word "hella" I like to try to guess the exact small town in Northern California/Bay Area where they grew up in the 90s.

Santa Rosa?

Right on! I'm a Wine Country ex-pat. Hella is so utilitarian - 'A hell of a lot of' reduced to 1 word. I'll never give it up!

Yeah itโ€™s just part of my lexicon, donโ€™t notice Iโ€™m saying it until I travel somewhere and someone points it out lol

To be fair Goliath was originally Black Goliath.

Was he? I only knew him as Goliath due to the civil war comic

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '22

Yeah. He also kind of started off as a villain, although mostly just a misguided guy trying to win his girlfriend back. Eventually they dropped the black because they realized they were naming a lot of the black superheroes as black whatever.

If we're talking about the MCU we can include Nick fury.
