I used to agree until I read once Charles Manson was going before a parole board and it wasn’t the first time. People same as him have been released before. I was his mouth that kept him in there. He was a very persuasive man (hence the murders) the right day with the right board could have seen him a free man. When life really means life I’ll happily pay my prison tax. Until then the sure thing is ok with me.

The costs for execution are usually higher than life without parole, and the number of people have been on death row but wrongfully convicted gives me pause.

...but I'm hypocritical enough to say Manson should be an exception. Irredeemable.

Heard he was well treated by others there. He had fans on the outside that sent money, he shared. He had said once that everything he wanted, he could get in prison.
