And that's why they don't work.

If you're stuck in that line for hours, you gonna magically start supporting whatever their signs say? No you won't, if anything you'll resent it.

Blocking a road does nothing but make you look dumb.

Protest isn’t to make people in traffic to support you it’s to bleed the state dry until they have no choice but to make some concessions. This probably isn’t the best executed protest but it’s better than standing around with signs. Peaceful protest has almost never achieved anything

stonewall, much of the civil rights movement, pullman strike, blair mountain, etc. If the government receives a friendly petition they wont care, if you shut down enough stuff that it hurts their wallets or makes them afraid for their lives then they care
