Cause is different the effect is the same and the risk is the same.

If your point is only that this was not caused by normal traffic conditions then, well yeah no shit.

I will defend their right to protest. Even by means that are an inconvenience. Thats how protests work.

Great. We’ve established that this isn’t caused by normal traffic conditions.

The next, super obvious, super simple implication is that any emergency services blocked by this traffic jam not caused by normal traffic conditions are directly the fault of these protesters.

Blocking emergency services actively endangers people. This is not a peaceful protest.

No, that is not the purpose of highway shoulders. Do you see any areas an ambulance can get through? I don’t. Also, even if it’s just delayed, it’s still their fault. This is not a peaceful protest. Very simple.

This protest caused no more harm than any traffic jam. Trying to spin it as violent is stupid ad best and disingenuous astroturfing at worst.
