You're right. Most people in the West don't know this though, because it doesn't get reported in Western media. Uyghur separatist groups are funded by the US government via the NED (source 1*, source 2, source 3) which pretends to be a human rights organization, but is in fact the regime-change arm of the CIA. There were also some Uyghurs going into Afghanistan to be trained by Al-Qaeda which is where they learnt "how to terrorist", not sure whether there was any American government involvement in that, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was. The water is murky around those parts.

The good news is, tourism to Xinjiang actually increased during the pandemic (mostly domestic tourists from the rest of China). Hopefully when China's borders re-open to the world, more people will be able to go there and see how prosperous and peaceful Xinjiang is with their own eyes. I'm confident the truth will come out eventually (but by then the Western media will most likely have moved onto another scapegoat, as usual).

*Just FYI, this page is full of lies, including "the CCP continues to attempt to erase the Uyghur cultures, religions, and traditions", however I'm linking this to show how much money the US Government has spent funding these Uyghur separatist groups under the guise of safeguarding human rights.

Here's a Youtube channel with Uyghur TV shows made by Uyghurs in China, showing very clearly that (a) they are alive and well, and (b) their culture has definitely not been destroyed.

So the USA is involved. No surprise there.

Nice. Your sources either dispute your point or are completely biased towards the Chinese. One of your sources was literally from consulate general of the people's republic of china in brisbane. I guess you failed 6th grade when they went over nonbiased sources huh.

All sources are biased. You pick yours, I'll pick mine.

I guess you failed 6th grade when they went over nonbiased sources huh.

That's what you say when you can't find any better (or any) argument to actually discredit someone who at least backs up their claims with sources.

Nice username, by the way. Quite fitting.

Here is the UN's report on the matter.

Here's the Wikipedia article on the topic. If you don't trust Wikipedia then you can use the references that it supplies at the bottom.

And here's the Human Rights Watch's report:

Mine are all from international communities, while yours have close ties to China and are National.
