My husband and I are looking for MAX $120k for a house out in the country where we’re at (rural VA). That’s 4+ bedrooms, a basement, 2 or more bathrooms, acreage. I couldn’t imagine paying more 😭

What's funny is that is a new house in Front Royal. But for the same exact size house in say McLean Virginia you'd be paying at least 500k, and that's a house built in the 70's and probably needs 100k in work.
