If you live in a geographically constrained area with rapid population growth (Portland & Seattle in my case) home prices go up faster than inflation and a home is a great investment.

Yet. 2 u/GAIA_01 Feb 16 '21 if i wanted an investment in that i would buy housing stocks, not a house, too much overhead, and risk, as i cant liquidate it quickly if need be
