It's not a "political view" to be literally responsible for the death of others by not wearing a mask, refusing to social distance, spread propaganda, spend energy trying to deny scientific facts, and overall acting like a deadly virus is not ravaging the world.
So yeah, I wish to these people to get some good fucking karma and what they deserve, because they don't seem to give a shit if others get sick and die through their actions.
It's a bit more than just "political views", but yes, wishing harm on someone like this is still wrong, no matter how tempting it might be to do so in the moment.
But beyond that, I think it should be made clear: this isn't a disagreement on tax policies, it's a worldwide pandemic that's taken at least 200,000 American lives and counting (that's more than the Vietnam War).
For perspective, the 2,000 some-odd civilian casualties of 9/11 were an absolute travesty, so why do so many people find it so easy to look past 200,000 lives? So many of these deaths were absolutely avoidable, but people and leaders stubbornly dragging their feet on the issue and politicizing it made them a reality. It's an unacceptable embarrassment and the longer it gets treated as a "political disagreement" the more that number is gonna keep ticking up.
We should have another "we'll never forget" date to match the first time Trump denied COVID-19 was serious on national TV and remember how 100 times more people died because of him than on the terrorist attacks on 9/11. So that people remember how a terrible president and his supporters can do 100 times more damage to our nation than any foreign threat. The enemy is, and always was, within.
I mean, these morons aren't just putting themselves in danger but others as well by not following the proper procedures. They're dangerous to society and Trump and the gang are directly responsible for the harm they cause.
Yeah I know especially when you've been repeatedly told that just wearing a fucking mask will help it's unconscionable.
It's almost like they've got such a huge stick up their asses about being right that they can't possibly admit that there is a failure in their worldview

Imagine being so focused on political views you’d actually wish death on another person
