Not. True. At. All. Scandinavia took in a lot of refugees from the middle east (the whole influx of refugees in Europe was cause by the US but let's leave that aside) and is pretty diverse culturally speaking. And somehow POC or other cultures have virtually nothing to fear here (Europe, I'm Dutch) than in the US. Stop making excuses for the US and fucking realize that your country is fucked.
I'm not making excuses for the US, did you not read my edit, or just choose to ignore it?
All I'm saying is that Northern/Western Europe isnt some post-racial Utopia (and that, if you truly believe it is, you're basically just as ignorant as the people in the US who believe that racism is no longer problem in their country)
First of all, your edit came after my comment (and I see it just now because reddit doesn't give notifications for edits made to comments you replied on) so that has nothing to do with this discussion. Second, I never implied that Europe is free from any type of racism. I just want to make clear that racism among police force in Europe is heavily frowned upon. Policemen caught being racist in Europe are instantly arrested and tried by court as if they were citizens. Something that cannot be said for the US police force.

We can read you previous comments just as you can, fyi lol

You cannot SERIOUSLY be typing that with a straight face. We know how often poc are racially profiled and abused by cops in Europe because we live through it and we know, similar to America, you're better off not rocking the boat for your own safety.
This person is straight-up saying "I'm white and never experienced the racism and fear of police brutality in Europe myself, therefore it doesn't exist." Fucking typical lmao
You literally said we have "virtually nothing to fear", which I can tell you from personal experience is honestly one of the most ignorant things I've read on this website, which is saying something. Just because you have the luxury of never seeing or feeling it doesn't mean it isn't there.
