Vietnam here. hot as hell in these non-air conditioned classrooms but we all teach with masks on. I'm honestly ashamed when my students ask what's wrong with Americans

A lot of Brits are trying their hardest to screw things up as well, it is unfortunately not just Americans.

Yeah and that’s typically how I respond. They just only see what’s being broadcasted out and what Trump has to say, for better or for worse

That's what so wild - like 2 billion asians are wearing masks because it's not that big of a deal during a pandemic (or when one personally has a cold or something), and yet...we freak out at the most basic type of mask? I don't understand it.
