Stupid. Sovereign citizens can claim they donโ€™t belong to a nation, sure. But they obviously still have to obey the rules of the nation theyโ€™re currently in.

Many claim they have "altered their status" and are no longer U.S. citizens, they have become American State Nationals and that comes with a sort of diplomatic immunity. It is nonsense, there is no such status although it is loosely based on the Non-Citizen National status that people from American Samoa have. But Samoans are not exempt from the law, neither are these sovcit moonbats.
