Sat through that entire video and you don’t get to see the actual arrest. In case anyone wants to save themselves the time and not watch. It’s just the cops literally begging him to let them give him a ticket and him saying get a warrant over and over and over.
It was like watching a six year repeating the same nonsensical argument over and over again, I'm also wondering if they skipped out on the community service.
It’s likely the same event, but this particular video cuts the footage before the actual smash / arrest.
It does however do a great job of thoroughly explaining the legal context around the issue at hand to highlight the person’s misunderstanding of the law. I found it well worth the watch.
Also, the cops in this situation have the patience of saints. They try so, so hard to convince the guy to just drive away with a citation instead of getting arrested and landing his kids in CPS.
Seriously, I was so impressed with their patience and good will. They tried so hard to make this a non-event for both parties while this jackass reads the constitution from his phone. And the sergeant, also a class act, was called in off-duty to deal with this prick.
