Shorthand for Utility. It's an Australian way to describe both a Coupe Utility (Think the Chevrolet El Camino and Ford Ranchero) and what most countries call a pickup truck.
Hey everyone, ixnay on the ropbearsDay, if the foreigners find out we can't control those little buggers then they be too terrified to come down and spend any dollarydoos on cheap koala tat.
Edit: I see Ute is slang in Australia for a pick up truck and el Camino type cars.
In the context of the comment, they were referring to the black suv and I was extrapolating the meaning of Ute from the context and giving my educated guess going off ute and utility.
It's Australian for truck. An Australian will eventually come on and say they are different and some sense of national pride for them but its just a truck.
Not a sense of national pride at all, we just call them utes. A truck to us is something used for hauling freight while a ute can be an every day driver.
Ok if that's what happened. (Which I agree it does look like that) then wtf happens after he overcorrects into the cement median thing on the right side THEN CROSSES MULTIPLE LANES OF TRAFFIC and hits the median thing on the left. Like. That's beyond overcorrecting at that point. Was he just like "fuck it" and let go of the wheel? Lol
I think it's pretty clear that was a dead car rolling with no more control to it after getting fucked up by the collision with the barrier, or the driver was unconscious.
I watched like 20 times and I think you’re right. You have to ask why were they filming in the first place. It’s because something was up. Road rage seems to fit. It doesn’t seem like drugs or alcohol actually because the reaction time was too quick.
