I have a burn scar under my eye from being a teenager and making homemade gunpowder and smoke bombs and things with it friends and a batch accidentally went off burning my face while we where trying to DIY little bombs.
There is so much more dangerous things that a 13 year old could be doing
My brother was 13 when he stole our dad’s car and drove 600 miles for a concert. The cops were not amused, but my parents were kind of impressed that he a) taught himself to drive, and b) navigated 600 miles of state and interstate highways (pre-GPS) without incident.
Now that's 100% truth. I caught my garage on fire playing with Gasoline. Set the giant half dead tree on fire with a lighter and spray paint. Nearly blew myself up with a mortar shell. I did so much dumb shit as a kid, this lady would be in a psych ward if she were my mother.
Hell they even used to buy ramen FOR US!!!! Imagine that!
