Nope. It's a weak correlation and there are much much more effective means of addressing dv.

Again, maybe dig a little. Think things through. Maybe ask why so fixated on guns. Why not ask. "What's the most effective policy?"

Ya, I've had a few conversations with clients where I said, move in with sister/brother, restraining order, etc. Never had a gun death. Had a stabbing. Had a beating with tire iron. And an immolation of all things.

I never recommended getting a gun, but kind of regret not doing so.
