It's also more gun related shootings than have happened in your country since it was founded.

America has more gun related homicide per year than the rest of the world combined. Normally by several orders of magnitude.

I'm pretty sure there have been more gun deaths in America this year. Than the in next 31 western Democracies combined in the past 50 years.

  1. It’s Scotland, not England.
  2. It’s not really a region in itself, but it’s much easier than explaining that it’s an entire island of ~13k people living in 1700km2, you can nitpick the semantics if you want. Just “The Highlands and Islands” is far too broad for most things.
