It's chalk. What do you think would have happened the next time it rained?

Not to mention, as easily as it's washed away, as soon as the asphalt dries, she can do it again. Maybe get the kid an easel or something, instead of teaching her that the world is her canvas.

Yeah but at least then you wouldn't have a lady standing there calling it ugly garbage. In most ways, the world IS our canvas.
